Emily Brandenburg is a seasoned accounting and finance professional with more than two decades of experience spanning corporate, real estate, and sports and entertainment sectors. A Cincinnati native, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bowling Green State University and has built a career defined by operational versatility, financial rigor, and long-term organizational impact.
Emily began her career in accounts receivable before advancing to Accounting Manager at a document solutions company, where she developed a reputation for managing complex, cross-functional responsibilities—from accounts payable to customer service operations. She later served as Controller for a real estate firm, overseeing financial reporting for a portfolio of 21 properties and further strengthening her expertise in multi-entity financial management.
For the past ten years, Emily has played a key financial leadership role within Cincinnati’s sports and entertainment landscape. She is responsible for comprehensive financial reporting across multiple organizations, including Heritage Bank Center, the Cincinnati Cyclones, the Cincinnati Cyclones Foundation, and Nederlander Entertainment. Her scope has expanded to include Queen City Sportsplex and the Greater Cincinnati Hockey organization, reflecting her continued growth and trusted leadership.
In addition to her professional responsibilities, Emily is actively engaged in the community. She serves on the Executive Board of the Greater Cincinnati Hockey organization, helping guide strategic direction and support the continued growth of youth hockey in the region, and is a member of the Touchdown Club at Milford High School.
